Great idea, some things don't work, software bad...

It's a great idea to control everything from your phone, but this one needs some work. It doesn't seem to learn well, can't control my bluray even though during the setup it works, and the software shows unrelated ads at the bottom of it, even though you paid for the hardware. On the positive side, it controls my TV, cable box and receiver well, as much as I have played with it. Until the problems are fixed, it won't be my main remote, but it's a fun toy with the possibility of being incredible if they update the software!

Hardware is great, software... not so much

I received my Zmart remote and I eagerly installed it and the iPhone app. The hardware works just fine. However, the software for the iPhone needs to be updated in a BAD way. It doesn't account for the larger iPhone 5 screens, which would allow more buttons on the screen. It also doesn't use standard buttons, making it harder to use because you really have to watch where you tap. I'd also like to see the ability to custom build a screen of buttons, if possible. A $.99 in-app option to remove ads would be great, which would free up more real estate for buttons.

Great bit of kit,works with my 2dvd players home cinema and TV within minutes! Particularly handy as I tend to carry my N7 around with me,so no need to look for TV remote! Brilliant idea!
